We were approached to manage and maintain wireless extension links between schools to extend Internet connectivity between buildings to reduce the costs of additional leased lines.
Nottinghamshire schools are a public sector education entity, with our interaction being with the Primary schools section of the organisation and there outsourced IT department.
The solution we provided was to remotely manage and maintain the infrastructure in place via our network operation centre and provide fault mitigation and resolution based on a 4 hour remote response and next day onsite engineering if required.
